I know several students completing their Associates degrees this spring (meaning they've completed all the math for a BS in Engineering already) who started in 095 which is developmental algebra around middle school level. in the fall because I believe I'll need more advanced coursework to prepare me for the more interesting engineering consulting tasks. Fortunately with math classes you can make up for not being inherently 'good at it' with a ton of work. Let me tell you- you will have to want it and you will have to work your fucking ass off and you will struggle no matter how intelligent you are, but not for one fleeting second have I ever wanted to do anything else. Also eventually, you will need to pass the professional engineering license examination to practice as engineer in responsible charge. You have to make the call on your own but, you also know, EnvE is the most important and critical field anyone can enter right now in my personal opinion.
